Small Loft, Havnegade in Vejle, Denmark
1989
What used to be a dark and gloomy storage space under the roof in an old traditional Danish townhouse, was transformed into a light and spacious loft, by means of seven additional skylights. The roof construction – old wooden beams – was kept and accentuated, while the floors have been covered with cork tiles.
